We’re sure you’re aware that it’s winter (the frost on the ground is a bit of a giveaway) and we won’t even go into the fact that energy bills are increasing soon. However, what we will say is that we’re here for you when you want to explore your options in regard to new doors and windows and fast and affordable glass replacement.

We’d also like to reassure you that whilst our prices have increased during 2022 due to long-term supply chain disruptions across multiple sectors, we’re still committed to keeping our tailored quotations competitively low. When the global situation becomes less severe (let’s all keep our fingers crossed that it’s sooner rather than later), we’ll readjust our prices accordingly. Either way, we remain your dedicated, friendly and family-run double glazing installation specialist working in Hull, Cottingham, Hessle, Brough, Beverley and across the wider East Yorkshire region.

We’d like to say “thank you”

Whilst we have you here, we’d also like to thank you for supporting our business in one way or another. Perhaps you’ve hired us for new doors and windows throughout your home or has some glass replaced here and there. Maybe you’ve enquired about our services, recommended us to a friend or asked for some expert advice. Or it could be that you’ve followed us on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn or occasionally read our blog. Whatever the case, we greatly appreciate your interest and support, as it’s helped us to add another year to our company history, which is particularly important for a relatively new business.

A quick note on double glazing

We don’t want to turn this blog post into a sales pitch but there is one piece of information that we’re passionate about sharing as often as possible.

Did you know that an average 18% of heat loss occurs through windows? That’s why new glazing and uPVC window frames are so important, as heat loss through double glazing is slashed in half. By upgrading your windows, you could save well over £100 per year in heating bills and reduce your carbon footprint in the process. It’s certainly food for thought and we’re here to offer additional guidance and recommendations if you like the sound of running a greener home.

Merry Christmas from our team

This is our final blog post of 2022, so we’d also like to take this opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Whatever you have planned, we hope it involves plenty of rest and relaxation with family, friends and loved ones, a huge mountain of Cadbury Heroes and perhaps a cheeky sherry here and there. Cheers!
